The legendary Kodiak Jacket is a premium touring piece, redesigned and loaded with features ready for grand journeys. The included down jacket is lightweight, sleek, and ready to add warmth on a cold ride, a night downtown, or for relaxing in a mountain lodge. A removable storm collar helps seal out the foulest weather. Major comfort upgrades include comprehensive adjustment features, stretch gussets for mobility, and new material layouts to make big rides even more comfortable.

The jacket features a 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro shell and is guaranteed to keep you dry. The jacket has stretch Gore-Tex fabric under the arms for mobility and perforated goat leather overlays on the shoulders and elbows for abrasion resistance. It has 3M™ Scotchlite reflective material at strategic places for biomotion recognition. The jacket has a double-headed front zipper. There is also a front zipper storm flap for wind and water protection.

The Kodiak Jacket features an integrated armor system, with D3O CE LP2 Pro shoulder and elbow armor and a D3O Viper CE Level 2 back pad. The elbow armor is adjustable for the right fit. All armor is removable. There is also engineered spacer mesh and siliconized vented spacer mesh chest protection in the back-pad pocket. The jacket is kidney belt compatible (sold separately).

Improved ventilation is ensured with 2 upper chest vents, 2 bicep intake vents, 2 massive adjustable wrist vents with dual zippers, and 2 vertical back exhaust vents. With these, air flows in and out of the jacket efficiently, ensuring better airflow while riding. It also has a collar tab-back feature to allow increased airflow to the upper chest area.

The Klim Kodiak Jacket comes with lots of storage too! It has 11 pockets. More specifically, it has 1 forearm emergency ID stat card/hidden stash pocket, 2 chest pockets, 2 billowed front cargo pockets, 1 satellite tracker/utility pocket on the chest, 1 internal chest zipper pocket, 1 internal chest drop pocket, 2 lower internal zippered stash pockets, and 1 hidden passport pocket in the lining.

Superior comfort and fit are aided with a moisture-wicking breathable mesh liner, comfort collar liner material, an adjustable cinch collar, 2 quick adjust bicep straps, 2 quick adjust forearm straps, 2 quick adjust waist straps, a low profile in-pocket bottom hem adjustment, articulated cuffs for comfortable interface with gloves, a seamless underarm design for comfort and mobility, a jacket to pant zip connector, YKK zippers, and a removable wearable storm collar. The storm collar is also waterproof and is made of stretch material. It tucks inside the helmet to keep you more comfortable and keep the wind and rain from coming in.

The Down Jacket that’s included with the Kodiak Jacket is wearable separately from the Kodiak jacket (not a zip-in liner). It’s lightweight, sleek, and ready to add warmth on a cold ride, a night downtown, or for relaxing in a mountain lodge. Key product specs include 800-fill-power-down, 4.6-ounce fill weight, 90/10 Gray goose down, and highly wind-resistant 20D Nylon fabric. The engineered seamless down baffles reduce down loss and there is no stitching to snag on Velcro. The Down Jacket packs into its pocket. Other key features include a DWR treatment on fabric, low-profile cuff binding, 3M™ Scotchlite reflective material, 2 zip hand pockets, low-profile elastic cuff binding to trap heat, a zipper garage, and low-profile in-pocket bottom hem adjustment.
