Installation & Inspection Guidelines

Inner Spacer:

• Clean the bore and ensure the axle slides freely through it.
• Inspect each end for burrs, wear, or distortion.
• Spacer edges must be square to properly seat the new bearings.
• Confirm spacer is the correct length—equal to or slightly longer than the bearing stops in the hub.

Wheel Hub:

• Remove all dirt and corrosion without removing metal, which could compromise bearing fit.

Outer Wheel Spacers:

• Clean thoroughly and inspect for wear, particularly at seal contact points.
• Replace spacers if they show signs of excessive wear.

Bearing Installation Notes:

• Note 1: Improper installation may reduce bearing life significantly.
• Note 2: Slightly heating the hub can ease bearing installation by allowing the hub to expand.
