Installation & Inspection Guidelines
Inner Spacer:
- Clean the bore and ensure the axle passes through smoothly.
- Check both ends for burrs or wear. Edges must be square for proper bearing seating.
- Verify the spacer is undamaged and is at least as long as the bearing stops in the hub.
Wheel Hub:
- Clean thoroughly without removing any metal to preserve the bearing fit.
Outer Wheel Spacers:
- Clean and inspect for wear, especially at seal contact surfaces.
- Replace if excessive wear is present.
Bearing Installation Notes:
- Note 1: Incorrect installation can cause premature bearing failure.
- Note 2: Gently heating the hub can ease bearing installation by expanding the hub.
