The Barkbusters Hardware Kit – Two Point Mount is designed specifically for the Honda CB 750 Hornet with OEM specifications. Featuring two mounting points, a heat-treated aluminum backbone, and included bar end weights, this hardware kit provides a strong and secure mounting solution for Barkbusters handguards.

Fitting Procedure

Loosely assemble the clamp to the handlebar as shown in the fitting diagram.
For easier installation on the right side, mount the 25mm M6 screw (4) with the head facing down.
Attach the backbone with the applicable parts to the handlebar and clamp connector (3).
The preferred backbone position is horizontal when viewed from the side.
Tighten bolt (8) at the handlebar end.
Tighten bolt (7) through the aluminum bar (1) or (2) to the clamp connector (3) of the clamp assembly.
Tighten bolt (4) to securely lock the clamp connector (3) between the clamp saddles (2).
Tighten bolt (5) to secure the clamp assembly firmly to the handlebar.
The clamp is designed so that the nut (6) on bolt (4) pulls into the recessed hole, eliminating the need for a wrench after the bolt starts to tighten.

Caution

Installation of the handguard is safety-relevant work and can be complicated. We recommend that installation be performed by a qualified motorcycle service technician. Rideworx accepts no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.

All screws, bolts, and nuts, including all replacement hardware provided by Rideworx, should be tightened to the torque specified in the applicable torque table. After the first 50 km of riding, check that all screws, bolts, and nuts remain tightened to the correct torque. We recommend using a medium-strength liquid thread-locking product on all fasteners.

Warning

Ensure there is approximately 3mm of working clearance between the throttle grip end and the handguard to allow the throttle to close freely.

Check the operation of all handlebar controls, specifically the throttle, front brake, kill switch, and clutch, to ensure they operate correctly and remain within OEM specifications. Do not ride the motorcycle if any controls are not operating correctly. Check periodically that all bolts remain tight.
