The Barkbusters Hardware Kit – Two Point Mount is specifically designed for the Yamaha XTZ700 Ténéré World Raid from 2022 onwards with OEM equipment. Featuring a strong two-point mounting system and heat-treated aluminum backbone, this hardware kit provides added strength and impact protection for your motorcycle's handguard setup.

Fitting Procedure – Right Side

Important: There is a ring machined into the inside of the tapered clamp surface to assist with correct fitting. The ring on both halves of the clamp should line up with each other and be positioned towards the center of the motorcycle on both the left and right sides.

• Loosely assemble the clamp to the handlebar as shown in the fitting diagram.
• Attach the backbone with the applicable parts to the handlebar and clamp connector (3).
• The preferred backbone position is horizontal when viewed from the side.
• Tighten bolt (8) at the handlebar end.
• Tighten clamp bolts in the following order.
• Tighten bolt (7) through the aluminum bar (1) to the clamp connector (3) of the clamp assembly.
• Tighten bolt (4) to securely lock the clamp connector (3) between the clamp saddles (2).
• Tighten bolt (5) to firmly secure the clamp assembly to the handlebar.

Note: The clamp is designed to allow the nut (6) on bolt (4) to pull into the recessed hole. This eliminates the need for a wrench after the bolt starts to tighten.

Warning

Check the operation of all handlebar controls, specifically the throttle, front brake, kill switch, and clutch, to ensure they are operating correctly and according to OEM specifications. Do not ride the motorcycle if any controls are not operating correctly or if rear-view mirror vision is obscured.

Check periodically that all bolts remain properly tightened.

Caution

Installation of the handguard is safety-relevant work and can be complicated. We recommend that installation be performed by a qualified motorcycle service technician.

Rideworx accepts no liability for damages caused by improper mounting. All screws, bolts, and nuts, including all replacement hardware provided by Rideworx, should be tightened to the torque specified in the fitting instructions.

After the first 50 km of riding, check that all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened to the correct torque. A medium-strength liquid thread-locking product is recommended on all fasteners.
