The Barkbusters BHG-115-00-NP Two Point Mount Hardware Kit is designed specifically for the BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Enduro. It features a strong, heat-treated aluminium backbone secured at two mounting points for enhanced protection around the handlebar and controls.

Fitting Procedure

The fitting procedure shown is for the right side. Repeat the installation for the left side using the applicable parts.

• Loosely assemble the clamp and connector to the handlebar as shown in the installation diagram.
• Attach the handguard backbone with the applicable parts to the handlebar end and clamp connector.
• Position the backbone so it is horizontal when viewed from the side.
• Tighten all bolts in the specified order: (10), (9), (4), then (7).

Warning

Check the operation of all handlebar controls, specifically the throttle, front brake, kill switch, and clutch, to ensure they operate correctly and according to OEM specifications. Do not ride the motorcycle if any controls are not operating correctly or if rear-view mirror vision is obscured.

Check periodically that all bolts remain tight.

Installation Safety

Installation of the handguard is safety-relevant work and can be complicated. Installation by a qualified motorcycle service technician is recommended. Rideworx accepts no liability for damage caused by improper mounting.

All screws, bolts, and nuts, including replacement hardware provided by Rideworx, should be tightened to the torque specified in the fitting instructions. After the first 50 km of riding, check that all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened to the correct torque. A medium-strength liquid thread-locking product is recommended on all fasteners.
