This product consists of the handguard mounts only. Plastic guards are not included and must be purchased separately. The BHG-124-00-BK mount is compatible with Barkbusters JET, VPS, STORM, and CARBON guards.

Important Installation Information

Installation of the handguard is safety-relevant work and can be complicated. Professional installation by a qualified motorcycle service technician is recommended. Follow all fitting instructions and tighten screws, bolts, and nuts to the specified torque values.

After the first 50 km of riding, check that all screws, bolts, and nuts remain correctly tightened. A medium-strength liquid thread-locking product is recommended on fasteners where specified.

Ensure approximately 3 mm of working clearance between the throttle grip end and the handguard so the throttle can close freely. After installation, check the operation of all handlebar controls, including the throttle, front brake, kill switch, and clutch. Do not ride the motorcycle if any control is not operating correctly.

Periodically check that all mounting hardware remains securely tightened. Test fitments are performed on stock motorcycles with factory-standard handlebars, windscreens, and components in their original positions.
