The Barkbusters STORM Handguard STM-007-02-BK is a single-point bar-end mounted handguard designed to provide excellent wind and cold-weather protection. Featuring a unique internal locking system with an aluminum frame and locking cap, this handguard is designed for handlebars with 6mm or 8mm internal threads. The black STORM plastic guard is included.

Caution

Installation of the handguard is safety-relevant work and can be complicated. We recommend that installation be performed by a motorcycle service technician. Rideworx accepts no liability for damage caused by improper mounting. All screws, bolts and nuts, including replacement hardware provided by Rideworx, should be tightened to the specified torque. After the first 50km of riding, check that all screws, bolts and nuts are tightened to the correct torque. A medium-strength liquid thread-locking product is recommended on all fasteners.

Warning

Check the operation of all handlebar controls, specifically the throttle, front brake, kill switch and clutch, to ensure they are operating correctly and in accordance with OEM specifications. Do not ride the motorcycle if any controls are not operating correctly. Periodically check that all bolts remain tight.
