The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II harnesses the flexibility and intelligence of your Ducati motorcycle's CANbus electrical system to make accessory installation easier. This plug-and-play controller provides integrated control of up to four accessories, with dozens of customizable settings accessible through your Ducati's hand controls or the CANsmart™ Accessory Manager Software.

The four CANsmart circuits are preprogrammed to independently control two sets of DENALI 2.0 lights, a SoundBomb horn, and a B6 auxiliary brake light. Each circuit can also be configured to operate different accessory types according to your requirements.

Gen II - More Features, More Power, More Versatile

Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, all four circuits of the Gen II can provide up to 10 amps of continuous power, and each circuit can be configured for any accessory type. The maximum power draw for the complete unit remains 30 amps continuous. Gen II also adds auxiliary light modulation and independent left and right auxiliary light cancellation when the corresponding turn signal is activated.

Features

High/Low Sync: Set auxiliary lights to switch between a programmable high and low setting with the factory high beam switch.
ON/OFF and Dim: Independently control two sets of auxiliary lights and adjust their intensity from the original vehicle switches.
Modulate Lights: Set auxiliary lights to modulate for increased visibility to other motorists.
Flash to Pass: Pulse the high beam switch three times to make the auxiliary lights strobe three times rapidly.
Cancel With Turn Signal: Automatically cancel the corresponding auxiliary light when the turn signal is activated to prevent the auxiliary lights from overpowering the signal.
Inverse Flashing With Hazards: Flash auxiliary lights inversely with the hazard lights to improve visibility during roadside emergencies.
Plug & Play Horn Installation: Connect high-power aftermarket horns such as the SoundBomb™ without requiring an additional harness or relay.
Strobe With Horn: Automatically strobe auxiliary lights when the horn is activated. This works with either the factory horn or a SoundBomb™ horn.
Deceleration Activated Smart Brake: Reads vehicle speed in real time and activates the auxiliary brake light during deceleration before the brake is applied. Sensitivity and minimum activation speed can be adjusted.
Flash Pattern Braking: Choose from four different auxiliary brake light flash patterns to increase visibility to motorists behind you.
Circuit Function Selector: Configure any of the four circuits for the accessory type of your choice through the CANsmart software.
Switched Power Source: Provides clean switched 12V power that turns connected accessories on and off with the motorcycle ignition.
Delay Time Out: Keep accessories powered for up to 30 seconds after turning off the motorcycle.
On-Board Power: The accessory circuit can power devices such as GPS units, phones, heated gear, or other electronic accessories.

Expansion

If you want to integrate two CANsmart™ Controllers or connect another accessory that requires EURO 5 port access, the EURO 5 Pass Through Adapter can be used for expansion.

Important Information

Due to limitations in heated grip information available through the CANbus system, controlling heated gear through the factory heated grip controls is not available.
Multistrada V2 and V2 S models do not support the OEM Fog Light Button for controlling CANsmart auxiliary lights.
