The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller for Harley-Davidson harnesses the flexibility and intelligence of your motorcycle's CAN bus electrical system to make accessory installation easier. The CANsmart provides plug-and-play installation for up to four electrical accessories, all controlled through your bike's original switches or DENALI Accessory Manager Software. By managing power distribution electronically, the CANsmart eliminates the need for bulky relays and complicated wiring.

Simply connect the CANsmart Controller to your Harley-Davidson diagnostic port to access more than 35 programmable accessory settings for controlling factory passing lamps, auxiliary lights, horns, brake lights, or other electrical accessories. The four accessory circuits are electronically fused and can provide up to 25 peak amps and 10 amps continuous.

Programmable Functions

• High/Low Sync: Set passing lamps and auxiliary lights to switch between programmable high and low intensity using the factory high beam switch.
• On/Off and Dim: Independently control two sets of lights and adjust their intensity from 10% to 100% using the factory trip switch.
• Modulate Lights: Set passing lamps or auxiliary lights to modulate for increased visibility to other motorists.
• Flash to Pass: Pulse the high beam switch three times to make the auxiliary lights strobe three times quickly.
• Cancel With Turn Signal: Automatically cancel the corresponding auxiliary light when the turn signal is activated.
• Plug & Play Horn Installation: Connect high-power aftermarket horns such as the DENALI SoundBomb™ without requiring an additional harness or relay.
• Strobe With Horn: Automatically strobe passing lamps or auxiliary lights when the horn is activated.
• Deceleration-Activated Smart Brake: Detect vehicle deceleration in real time and activate the brake light before the brake lever or pedal is applied. Sensitivity and minimum activation speed can be adjusted.
• Flash Pattern Braking: Choose from four programmable brake light flash patterns to increase rear visibility.
• Genuine Harley-Davidson Accessory Compatibility: Provides smart brake and flash-pattern braking functionality to a wide range of compatible Harley-Davidson accessories.
• Switched Power Source: Provides clean switched 12V power for accessories that turn on and off with the motorcycle's ignition.
• Delay Time Out: Keep accessories powered for up to 30 seconds after switching off the motorcycle.
• On Board Power: The accessory circuit can be used to power devices such as GPS units, phones, heated gear, or other electronic accessories.

Simple Circuit Mode

Any of the four CANsmart circuits can be configured in Simple Circuit Mode. This disables the custom circuit functions and provides a clean, switched 12V power source for an accessory of your choice. The electronic fuse remains active to provide appropriate circuit protection.

Harley-Davidson Compatibility

The DENALI CANsmart H-D is compatible with more than 60 Harley-Davidson models, including Sportster, Dyna, Softail, Touring, CVO, and Trike models from 2014 to present.

DENALI Accessory Integration

The CANsmart is designed for seamless installation of DENALI products and includes the necessary wiring harnesses and extension cables. Simply connect compatible DENALI LED light pods or other accessories to the included harnesses and configure the desired functions using the CANsmart system.
