Installation Instructions

Pre-Installation: Lubricate the OEM clutch cable using WD-40 or a suitable cable lubricant before installation.

Step 1: Remove the Stock Clutch Cable

• Disconnect the clutch cable from the handlebar clutch lever as shown in Fig. A.
• Loosen the lock nuts at the engine yoke and remove the cable from the engine side as shown in Fig. B.

Step 2: Install the Easy Clutch Pro Plus

• Insert the 2B cable into the engine-side connection by reversing the cable removal procedure.
• Adjust the lock nuts to provide maximum cable slack during installation.
• Route the cable through a smooth and unobstructed path to ensure proper operation.
• Connect the 2A cable head to the clutch lever by reversing the removal procedure.

Step 3: Adjust the Clutch Release Point

Set the clutch release point at approximately 50% of the clutch lever travel for proper clutch engagement and disengagement.

• Below 40%: Thread out the adjuster on either side of the Easy Clutch housing until the desired release point is achieved.
• Above 60%: Thread in the adjuster until the desired release point is achieved.
• Engine-Side Fine Adjustment: Use the engine-side cable adjuster for additional adjustment. Position “a” brings the release point closer to the grip, while position “b” moves it farther away from the grip.

Usage & Safety Information

• Excessive Free Play: May prevent the clutch from fully disengaging, resulting in hard gear shifts, difficulty selecting neutral, and premature clutch wear.
• Insufficient Free Play: May prevent the clutch from fully engaging, causing clutch slippage, reduced performance, overheating, and accelerated clutch wear.
• Always check clutch operation and maintain the recommended release point between 40% and 60% of lever travel.
• Test the clutch thoroughly after installation before riding.
