Shell Construction

The D-City shell is made from ADT advanced thermoplastic, a blend of thermoplastic resins designed for high impact resistance. It is produced in two sizes to support fit and overall helmet structure.

Protective Polystyrene Liner

The internal protective polystyrene liner is produced in two sizes, M and L, with variable density to support ergonomics and progressive absorption of impact energy. The liner works alongside the outer shell to help manage energy during an impact.

Main Visor

The clear main visor is made from injection-moulded polycarbonate and features a scratch-resistant treatment. Its practical mechanism allows removal without tools. The wide field of vision and aerodynamic design make it suitable for everyday urban riding and short to medium-distance trips.

Integrated Sun Visor

The D-City features a retractable internal sun visor with wide coverage. It can be operated using a sliding button positioned near the lower base of the shell, allowing convenient adjustment while riding when it is safe to do so.

Pinlock Compatibility

The KYT D-City is ready for a Pinlock Max Vision 120 antifog lens.

Important: The Pinlock antifog lens is not included with the helmet and must be purchased separately.

Ventilation

Internal channels in the polystyrene liner work with the shell's air intakes to encourage airflow throughout the helmet and help release warm air, supporting comfort during everyday rides.

Inner Padding and Bluetooth Compatibility

The inner padding is made from soft, breathable bi-elastic fabric with synthetic fibres designed to absorb sweat and help keep the interior fresh and dry. The crown padding and cheek pads are removable for cleaning and maintenance. The cheek pads are prepared for compatible Bluetooth headsets.

Retention System

The helmet uses a micrometric buckle retention system with a 24 mm polyester strap, as specified in the technical details. Adjust and fasten the strap correctly before every ride.

Warranty Activation: Customers must register their KYT helmet within 2 days of purchase through the official KYT India warranty registration portal. Warranty registration is mandatory for future warranty claims.

Warranty Terms

• Authorized Purchase Only: Warranty is valid only for KYT helmets purchased through authorized KYT dealers.
• Manufacturing Defects Only: Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to inspection and approval.
• Impact or Accident: Helmets involved in any accident, collision, or impact are not eligible for warranty and should be replaced immediately for safety reasons.
• Repair or Replacement Only: Approved warranty claims will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of H.O.M Autosolutions LLP. Refunds are not provided under warranty.
• Warranty Duration: KYT helmets are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.
