Motorex Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is a high-performance brake fluid designed for hydraulic brake and clutch systems. With a boiling point of at least 260 °C and an extremely high wet boiling point of at least 180 °C, it provides a strong safety reserve against vapour lock and reliable braking performance.

Its low viscosity at low temperatures makes it particularly suitable for modern braking systems equipped with ABS and ASR. Extensively tested in racing applications, it is suitable for on-road and off-road motorcycles as well as compatible passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

According to extensive racing tests, Motorex Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 can be used in on-road and off-road motorcycles, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles where a brake fluid complying with the FMVSS 116 DOT 5.1 specification is required.

Application

Use only in hydraulic brake and clutch systems designed for this type of brake fluid. May damage paints, varnishes and some plastics.

Do not mix with mineral-oil-based or silicone-based brake fluids, or with DOT 5.0 brake fluid. Always observe the vehicle manufacturer's recommended brake fluid change intervals.
