Installation Guide
Follow the steps below for optimal performance and safety:
Step 1: Disconnect OE Cable
- Detach the OE clutch cable head from the clutch lever (Fig. A).
- Loosen the lock nut (2) at the engine yoke to release the cable, if required (Fig. B).
Step 2: Assemble Easy Clutch
- Open the aluminum housing by removing all Allen screws (Sl. No. 1).
- Remove the fulcrum from the housing.
- Insert the OE clutch cable into the adjuster, then fit the cable head into the fulcrum (Fig. C
- Thread the Pro-Spec short cable into the left side of the housing and secure its head into the fulcrum .
- Connect the opposite end of the Pro-Spec cable to the clutch lever and slide the dust boot over the joint.
Clutch Lever Adjustment
To ensure smooth gear shifts and prevent clutch wear, set the clutch release point at approximately 50% of the lever’s range of motion.
Adjustment Guidelines
- If the release point is below 40%, thread out the adjuster on either side of the Easy Clutch Fig.. g. D the release point is above 60%, thread in the adjuster to bring it closer (Fig. E).
- For additional fine-tuning, adjust the cable at the engine-side yoke :
- Position “a” Brings the release point closer to the handlebar (Fig. F).
- Position “b” Moves the release point further away from the handlebar (Fig. G
Maintenance & Safety Notes
- Ensure the clutch lever has proper free play :
- Too much free play = clutch won't disengage properly → gear shifting issues.
- Too little free play = clutch may slip → reduced performance and premature wear.
- Lubricate the OE cable thoroughly using WD-40 or a compatible cable lubricant before installation.
