Installation Guide

1. Remove the clutch cable head from the clutch lever by loosening the lock nuts at the engine yoke. Detach the cable head from the engine yoke as well.
2. Install the Easy Clutch Pro Plus by first inserting the longer section of the cable (2B) into the engine end, reversing the removal procedure. Ensure the lock nuts provide maximum cable slack.
3. Route the Easy Clutch cable along a smooth and unobstructed path to allow free cable movement.
4. Insert the shorter cable end (2A) into the clutch lever following the reverse of the removal procedure. Attach the dust boot to the lever.

Clutch Release Adjustment

Aim for a clutch release point at approximately 50% of clutch lever travel for optimal performance.

• If the release point is below 40%, thread out the adjuster on either side of the Easy Clutch housing until the desired position is reached.
• If the release point is above 60%, thread in the adjuster on either side of the housing until the desired position is reached.
• For further fine-tuning, adjust the cable tension at the engine end. Position “a” moves the release point closer to the lever, while position “b” moves it away.

Important Notes

• Excessive free play at the clutch lever may prevent full clutch disengagement, causing difficulty in gear shifting and an early clutch release point below 40%.
• Insufficient free play or a release point beyond 60% can lead to incomplete clutch engagement, resulting in clutch slippage, reduced performance, and premature clutch wear.
• Always lubricate the original equipment (OE) clutch cable using WD-40 or a suitable cable lubricant before installation.
• Follow the adjustment guide carefully to ensure clutch safety and optimal performance.
