Installation Instructions

🔧 Pre-installation Tip: Lubricate the OEM clutch cable using WD-40 or a similar cable lubricant for optimal performance.

Step 1: Remove Stock Clutch Cable

• Disconnect the clutch cable from the handlebar lever ( see Fig. A).
• Loosen the lock nuts at the engine yoke and remove the cable from the engine side ( see Fig. B).

Step 2: Install the Easy Clutch Pro Plus

• Insert the 2B cable into the engine end, reversing the removal steps (Fig. B).
• Ensure lock nuts are adjusted to provide maximum slack.
• Route the cable along a smooth, obstruction-free path.
• Connect the 2A cable head to the clutch lever (Fig. A).

Step 3: Adjust the Clutch Release Point

• Target: 50% clutch lever travel for optimal engagement and disengagement.

Adjustment Guidelines:

• If the release point is below 40%, thread out the adjuster on the Easy Clutch housing (Fig. C).
• If the release point is above 60%, thread in the adjuster ( Fig-E ).
• Fine-tune using the engine-side cable adjuster as shown in Fig. D and Fig. F:
  • (a) – Brings the release point closer to the grip.
  • (b) – Moves the release point away from the grip.

Usage & Safety Disclaimer

Proper adjustment is crucial for performance and clutch health:

Too much free play can result in incomplete disengagement, causing:

• Hard gear shifts
• Trouble selecting neutral
• Premature clutch wear

Too little free play can cause clutch slippage, leading to:

• Reduced performance
• Overheating
• Shortened clutch life

Always maintain the clutch release point between 40% and 60% of lever travel for optimal results.
