The Pro-Spec Easy Cruz ECZ017 is a mechanical friction-based throttle control device designed for motorcycles with hollow handlebars. It acts as a direct replacement for the original equipment (OE) bar-end weight with minimal weight difference, helping maintain a natural feel and balance.

Designed for right-side fitment, the Easy Cruz provides controlled throttle friction for improved comfort during long-distance and highway riding while allowing normal throttle operation when disengaged.

Installation Instructions

The Easy Cruz is DIY-friendly, but professional installation is recommended if you face difficulty.

1. Loosen the Allen head screw on the current right-side bar end.
2. Remove the OE bar end from the handlebar.
3. Insert the Easy Cruz device in its place.
4. Secure it using the included hardware.
5. Test the knob to ensure smooth switching between cruise and city modes.

Important: Do not overtighten the grub screw shown in the installation diagram, as this may damage the internal threads.

How It Works

When engaged, the Easy Cruz applies controlled friction to the throttle, helping hold it in the selected position. To slow down or stop, the throttle can still be manually twisted back even while the system is engaged. The device does not lock the rider out of manual throttle control.
