The SW-Motech PRO GS Tank Bag is designed specifically for motorcycles with steeply sloped fuel tanks, such as the BMW R 1250 GS. With an expandable 16-20 litre capacity, it provides convenient storage for long-distance touring while keeping essential items easily accessible.

Made from durable, highly UV-resistant 1680D ballistic nylon with a water-resistant interior coating, the PRO GS Tank Bag protects your luggage against shocks, wind, and weather. The laminated EVA top and bottom provide a distinctive, stable shape, while the MOLLE attachment on top allows compatible smartphone and tablet holders to be mounted.

The factory-fitted upper ring guide rail allows the bag to be positioned according to the shape of the fuel tank and the rider's ergonomic requirements. The PRO GS Tank Bag works with a bike-specific SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring, which uses a mechanical Quick Lock system combined with a magnetic guide for easy one-handed attachment and removal.

The bag features a robust carrying handle, reflective details for improved visibility, an expandable main compartment, internal mesh compartments, and cable feed-throughs at the front and rear. A supplied rain cover provides additional weather protection, and the bag can also be used with a cable lock or anti-theft protection.

Installation

The PRO GS Tank Bag is designed to be used with the required bike-specific PRO Tank Ring. The magnetic guide helps position the tank bag correctly, while the Quick Lock mechanism securely locks it into place. The tank bag can be removed quickly using the release mechanism.

Important Information

Ensure there is sufficient clearance between the tank bag and the motorcycle's tank surface, including when the bag is fully loaded. If sufficient clearance cannot be maintained, use a suitable protective film or tank pad to help protect the paintwork.

Maintenance: The top ring locking mechanism contains moving parts and requires occasional maintenance. Compressed air can be used to remove dust from the mechanism. If the mechanism becomes stuck, a small amount of WD-40 may be applied and left for 2-3 minutes before attempting operation again.
