Made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon with a metal base plate, the tank ring keeps the mounted tank bag away from the painted tank surface. This helps prevent scratches and paint wear commonly associated with conventional tank bags. The fuel filler cap remains easily accessible when the tank bag is not mounted.
