How the BASIC Tank Ring Works

The BASIC tank ring uses a mechanical locking system to securely attach the tank bag. The fastener is screwed onto the tank bag and engages with the tank ring. To remove the tank bag, simply pull the release strap located underneath the bag.

BASIC vs. Lock-it Tank Ring

The general function and operation of the BASIC and Lock-it tank rings remain the same. The main difference is that the BASIC tank ring locks mechanically only, while the Lock-it tank ring uses magnets to assist with centering.

The difference is limited to the two magnet or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific metal ring is the same for both versions.
