This high-quality functional ELEPHANT top bag for the Vario Topcase offers all the advantages of our ELEPHANT range: functionality and versatility, as well as contemporary design, sustainable fabrics, and manufacturing processes, were central to its development. The independent, minimalist design of the top bag has a high recognition value. It is precisely tailored to fit the recess in the lid of the Vario Topcase and is securely attached to the tie-down loops of the top case lid with four Velcro straps. Additionally, it is equipped with a holding system similar to the military Molle system. The ELEPHANT top bag offers nine liters of storage space in the main compartment. We make the bag from robust, durable CORDURA® TrueLock™ fabric. The rigid padding of the top bag reliably protects the contents and prevents any bulging or fluttering at high speeds. Our in-house blue lining provides contrast and visibility inside. The zippers are typical of ELEPHANT, water-resistant, and feature ergonomic, grippy blue zippers.

Wunderlich BLUE – Using Sustainable Fabrics as an Example

The innovative CORDURA® TrueLock™ fabric used for the ELEPHANT top bag is made from high-strength Nylon 6.6 multi-filament nylon fibers produced in the extrusion process. In this continuous process, the added color is essentially “locked” into the fiber, firmly bound. This eliminates subsequent resource-intensive dyeing and washing processes. The process for manufacturing CORDURA® TrueLock™, developed by CORDURA® inventor INVISTA, conserves resources by reducing water and energy consumption while reducing CO₂ emissions, all while increasing durability, service life, and durability. The innovative fabric has further improved colorfastness, color retention, and UV stability. Fade and abrasion resistance have also been improved
