Installation Guide
Follow the instructions carefully to ensure optimal performance:
Step 1: Remove OE Cable
- Disconnect the OE clutch cable head from the lever (Fig. A).
- Loosen the adjuster and lock nut (2) near the engine (Fig. B) to facilitate cable removal.
Step 2: Install Easy Clutch Pro
- Open the aluminum housing by removing all Allen screws.
- Remove the fulcrum from the housing.
- Insert the OE clutch cable into the adjuster, then seat the cable head into the fulcrum (Fig. C).
- Insert the Pro-Spec short cable into the left side of the housing and secure its head in the fulcrum.
- Attach the other end of the short cable to the clutch lever and install the dust boot over the lever fitting.
Clutch Adjustment Guide
Set the clutch release point at approximately 50% of the lever’s movement for optimal engagement and disengagement.
Adjustment Instructions
- If the release point is below 40%, thread out the adjuster on either side of the Easy Clutch (Fig. D).
- If the release point is beyond 60%, thread in the adjuster ( Fig-E ).
- Additional fine-tuning can be done at the engine-side cable :
- Adjustment “ a ”: Moves release point closer to the grip (Fig. F).
- Adjustment “ b ”: Moves release point further from the grip ( Fig-G ).
Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure adequate free play on the clutch lever:
- Excessive free play → Clutch may not disengage fully → hard shifting or missed gears.
- Insufficient free play → Clutch may slip → performance loss and premature wear.
- Lubricate the OE clutch cable using WD-40 or an equivalent cable lubricant during installation.
